Full Moon in Libra — April 1, 2026

12° Libra | Exact at 10:12 PM

This Full Moon rises on April 1st at 12 degrees of Libra, reaching its peak at 10:12 PM. Known as the Pink Moon, this lunation carries the soft promise of spring—renewal, fertility, and the quiet unfolding of something we’ve been tending beneath the surface.

Every Full Moon is a moment of culmination, a point of illumination where something comes into full view. It is the energetic checkpoint of the lunar cycle, where we begin to see the results of what we set into motion under the last New Moon. There is a sense of fulfillment here, but also heightened awareness—especially around emotions, relationships, and the subtle dynamics that shape our inner and outer worlds.

With the Moon in Libra standing in direct opposition to the Sun in Aries, we are working with the axis of self and other. Aries represents the self—our identity, our independence, our ability to assert and initiate. Libra, on the other hand, governs relationships—how we connect, compromise, and coexist. This polarity invites us into a deeper awareness of balance, or perhaps more truthfully, where balance has been lost.

Under this lunation, relationships come into focus in a very real way. Not just romantic relationships, but all connections that require our energy, our attention, and our emotional investment. We may begin to notice where we have been overextending ourselves in order to maintain harmony, where we have softened our boundaries, or where we have prioritized peace over truth. At the same time, this Full Moon asks us to consider the role we play within these dynamics. Where have we been giving too much? Where have we been holding back? And where is the equilibrium that allows both self and connection to exist without sacrifice?

There is also a strong undercurrent of visibility and leadership woven into this lunation. Aries, as the sign of the self, speaks to identity and the courage to be seen. It reflects how we show up in the world, how we lead, and how we take ownership of our path. This Full Moon may illuminate areas where we are being called to step forward more fully, to take up space, or to redefine what leadership looks like in our own lives. It may also reveal where we have been shrinking, waiting, or deferring to others when we are meant to stand in our own authority.

If we view this moment as part of a larger manifestation cycle, this Full Moon acts as a checkpoint of clarity. It highlights the relationships that support our growth and expansion, as well as those that may be quietly draining or misaligned. It invites us to refine our understanding of leadership—not as control or dominance, but as self-trust, embodiment, and the willingness to move forward with intention. From this place, manifestation becomes less about chasing and more about aligning with what is already meant for us.

This lunation carries the combined energy of Fire and Air—Aries and Libra, two elements that interact in a dynamic and meaningful way. Fire relies on Air to grow, to spread, to become something larger than its initial spark. Air, in turn, moves freely, shaping and carrying energy without needing to anchor itself. Together, these elements offer us both movement and momentum.

Through the element of Air, we are invited to give voice to what has remained unspoken. This is the space to articulate our needs, to express our boundaries, and to envision ourselves stepping into a more aligned version of who we are becoming. Air governs thought, communication, and perspective—it allows us to see clearly and to speak truthfully.

Through the element of Fire, we are given the power of transformation. Fire clears, releases, and transmutes. It asks us to let go of what no longer supports us, to burn away the patterns, attachments, or fears that stand between us and what we are calling in. Fire does not hesitate—it acts, it shifts, it creates space for something new to emerge.

Working with both of these elements under this Full Moon allows us to not only recognize what needs to change, but to actively participate in that change.

Full Moon Ritual: Releasing Through Fire

To work with the energy of this lunation, begin by gathering a candle, a piece of paper, something to write with, matches or a lighter, and a fireproof dish. Create a space where you feel grounded and uninterrupted.

Light your candle, allowing this simple act to open your ritual and signal your intention. Take a few moments to turn inward, bringing your awareness to your breath and your body.

In your mind’s eye, return to the intentions you set under the last New Moon. Visualize them clearly. See yourself not just desiring them, but receiving them. Feel what it would be like to already have what you called in.

From this place, gently shift your focus to the relationships in your life. Reflect on the dynamic of self versus other. Notice where something feels out of balance. Notice where your energy feels depleted, where your boundaries feel unclear, or where you are being asked to show up differently.

Allow yourself to sit with this awareness until something rises to the surface—something that feels like it is standing in the way of you fully receiving what you desire. When it becomes clear, refine it down into a single word or a single sentence.

Write this on your piece of paper.

When you are ready, carefully light the paper using your candle and place it into your fireproof dish. As it burns, speak the following aloud:

“I call upon the element of Fire. Move swiftly to me now and burn away all that no longer serves me under this Libra Full Moon. So may it be.”

Watch as the paper turns to ash, allowing yourself to release attachment to what you’ve named. Trust that what is leaving is making space for what is meant to arrive.

When you feel complete, close your ritual by extinguishing the candle, carrying this sense of clarity and release with you.
